Big Red Barn. Big Partnerships. Even Bigger Impact.
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is always one of the biggest highlights of the year for the JAG Metals team, and 2026 proved once again why it means so much to us. From the moment the crowds started rolling through the Big Red Barn, we were surrounded by the people who make this industry and this community what it is — our customers, our friends, our families, and so many new faces who stopped in to learn more about what we do. As a trusted metal supplier for metal roofing, red iron buildings, and complete metal building packages, we spend most of our days talking about panels, trim, and projects, but FWSSR gives us the opportunity to slow down and focus on the relationships behind the work. This year was full of handshakes, hugs, conversations about upcoming builds, on-the-spot quotes, and plenty of “We’ve been hearing y’all on the radio!” moments that never get old.
Our partnership with 95.9 The Ranch brought a whole new level of energy to the Big Red Barn. All week long, people walked up already feeling connected to JAG Metals because they had heard Justin Bradley and our name on the air. Seeing listeners put a face to the voice was something special, and Justin was right in the middle of it all, doing what he does best — welcoming everyone who stopped by, taking photos, thanking customers for their business, and meeting new people who are planning their next metal roofing or red iron project. That visibility is a direct reflection of who we are as a company. We’re not just a metal building supplier; we’re a relationship-driven team that believes in showing up and being part of the community.
The Big Red Barn also became a must-stop destination thanks to an incredible lineup of meet and greets. Red Shahan brought that unmistakable Texas sound and drew a steady stream of fans, Kolton Schmidt had the rodeo crowd rolling through and staying awhile, and Maddy Deerman created moments that inspired the next generation of rodeo athletes. Each one of these appearances created real connections and gave people another reason to come in, stay awhile, and get to know JAG Metals beyond the materials we supply. Visit JAG Metals Instagram to see interviews from each meet and greet.
One of the most unforgettable parts of the entire show, as always, was watching Justin pass out stuffed pigs and cows to the kids. You could spot those smiling faces and plush animals from across the grounds, and the excitement was contagious. The pig backpacks were a hit from the first day to the last, and seeing kids proudly walking around with them was a reminder that the little things often leave the biggest impression. Those moments have nothing to do with selling metal roofing or red iron, but they have everything to do with building a brand that families remember and trust.
The week also gave us the opportunity to be part of something that perfectly reflects our values. JAG Metals, 95.9 The Ranch, and Don Marable were proud to stand behind the kids shaping the future of Texas agriculture, one auction at a time, through our purchase at the Sale of Champions. We were honored to support Kennedy Powe of Erath County 4H in Stephenville, Texas, with her lightweight exotic steer, 50 Cent. Supporting these young exhibitors means supporting hard work, responsibility, and the future of our industry and our state, and it is one of the most meaningful investments we make all year.
More than anything, this year’s Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo was about the people who took the time to stop by. Some came to talk about a metal building, some came to ask questions about metal roofing, some came because they had heard us on The Ranch, and some simply came to say hello. Every conversation mattered. Every handshake mattered. Every photo, every laugh, and every new connection is what continues to drive JAG Metals forward.
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo isn’t just another event for us. It’s a reflection of who we are — a Texas metal supplier built on relationships, community, and a deep commitment to supporting the people who are building what comes next. To everyone who spent time with us in the Big Red Barn this year, thank you for making it unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to next year.
