Teachers give so much throughout the school year—time, energy, and often even their own money to make sure their classrooms are stocked. That’s why Townsquare Media Victoria is proud to bring back the Teacher Supply Drive for a second year, and we’re going bigger and better than ever!
📅 Mark Your Calendar: August 5
This year’s event is happening on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Townsquare Media parking lot (107 North Star Drive, Victoria, TX). If you’re a teacher, all you have to do is enter from Mockingbird Lane and drive through — we’ll do the rest!
Our amazing Townsquare Media staff and volunteers will be there, handing out 1,000 backpacks absolutely packed with classroom supplies. That’s twice as many as we gave away last year!
🎁 Bonus! Extra Credit Grand Prizes
Just like last year, a few lucky backpacks will come with something a little extra. Five backpacks will contain hidden “extra credit” grand prizes, which we’ll reveal as the date gets closer. (Trust us, you’re going to want one.)
✏️ What Supplies Are Most Needed?
Last year, we learned a lot about what teachers really need in their classrooms. Among the most requested items were:
- Tissue boxes (Kleenex)
- Paper towels
- Antibacterial supplies like hand sanitizer and wipes
If you’re looking for a simple way to support this event, consider donating these much-needed items ahead of time. You can drop them off at the radio station any time before August 5:

📸 A Look Back at Last Year
Our first Teacher Supply Drive was a huge success. Over 500 backpacks were given away, and the line of cars stretched all the way from Navarro into the Shooters parking lot. We knew then that we had started something truly special — and this year, we’re ready to top it.
Let’s rally around our teachers and show them how much this community appreciates them. They’ve earned it — and then some.
